The Group is for people who want a nice walk not too far from East Grinstead followed by a pub lunch

Each walk will generally be circular, starting at the selected venue, hopefully no later than 10.00 am

Walks are about 5 miles, mainly off-road, and take 2 to 3 hours.

Our walks may include stiles, uneven ground, steep inclines, mud, and rocky surfaces.

Members should have suitable walking clothing, boots etc. and bring clean shoes for the pub.

Walkers should be reasonably fit and be able to maintain a walking rate that will meet the distance and time scales mentioned above.

Each month is a separate walk. Details of a meeting point and start times are emailed a few weeks before the walk. Members are requested to inform the group leaders of their intention to attend or not.
